Our mission:
Invalid Productions exists for two reasons: to find and create stories worth telling, and to put Austin talent to work.
We are an Austin based production company focusing on historically underrepresented demographics and stories. From the content we create, to the people we hire, to our personal involvement with the activist community in ATX. We help filmmakers and creators get started by answering the basic logistical questions for their scripts and taking them through to set and post production. We aim to draw more studios with higher budgets into the Austin area – putting more Austinites to work. Invalid Productions is currently seeking funders to help the next great story come to life.
The number one barrier to entrance in the film industry is simple: money. Film and media production are an expensive business, especially the type good at making money (which is the only kind Invalid is focused on at this time.)
